AQUAmodem Technology Overview
Aquatec's latest acoustic modem technology has been developed over 15 years. The more recent projects involved shallow water communications in the Baltic over ranges of up to 5km, while current long range communication technology is being developed within the EC-Funded DAMOCLES project.
The following specification is only a guide to the capabilities of our modems. Due to acoustic propagation characteristics we tailor each modem to suit the application.
